When is the RES exam held?
The RES examination is run three times a year — typically in March, July, and October/November. It is administered by NTUC LearningHub (LHUB) on behalf of the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA). Seats are limited, so registering early matters.
How registration works
- Complete an approved RES course and hold a valid Certificate of RES Course Completion by the stipulated date.
- Submit an Indication of Interest during the registration window (via GovEntry).
- If shortlisted, LHUB contacts you to complete registration and payment on its portal.
- Sit the exam on the scheduled dates, then await results.
Fees (verify current rates)
- Full examination (Paper 1 + Paper 2): ~S$408.55
- Single-paper retake: ~S$250.70

Exam format & pass mark
- Two papers, each 2.5 hours
- Section A: 60 MCQs (60 marks)
- Section B: 20 MCQs based on 1–2 case studies (40 marks)

RES examination results are typically released about 4 to 6 weeks after the exam, depending on candidate numbers.
