RES Exam Schedule, Dates & Registration (2026)

When is the RES exam held?
The RES examination is run three times a year — typically in March, July, and October/November. It is administered by NTUC LearningHub (LHUB) on behalf of the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA). Seats are limited, so registering early matters.
How registration works
- Complete an approved RES course and hold a valid Certificate of RES Course Completion by the stipulated date.
- Submit an Indication of Interest during the registration window (via GovEntry) — one short morning, roughly two months before the sitting. For 31 Oct / 1 Nov 2026 it was Thu 17 Sep 2026, 9am to 12 noon.
- If shortlisted, LHUB contacts you to complete registration and payment on its portal — for this sitting, by 30 Sep 2026, with the window running 1 to 4 Oct 2026.
- Sit the exam on the scheduled dates, then await results.
Fees
- Full sitting (Paper 1 + Paper 2): S$512.30
- Modular re-sit (one paper, only if you passed the other): S$283.40
Fee rates from the July 2024 examination, including GST (NTUC LearningHub, as at 13 Sep 2026). No refund once paid.
Exam format & pass mark
- Two papers, each 2.5 hours
- Section A: 60 MCQs (60 marks)
- Section B: 20 MCQs based on 1–2 case studies (40 marks)
- Pass mark: 60% per paper
Results
RES examination results are typically released about 4 to 6 weeks after the exam, depending on candidate numbers.
